Piano For All Review: Is It Worth It?
You must have heard about this piano learning course. Here is my review and my thoughts about Piano for All. The information shared in this article might help you in deciding whether you should buy this piano learning program or not. These piano lessons are growing very popular in fact it has reached more than 200,000 students already, but how good is it and does PianoforAll really work? Should you buy it, and does it really save your time and money? Well, you will find out pretty soon.
Hi there! My name is Nathan and I have been a music fan since childhood. I loved listening to different tunes and music whenever they were on TV. My mother noticed it and so I got my first keyboard when I was 15, it wasn’t very good but good enough for me to play with tunes.
When you have a tight budget, affording some extra and very expensive piano classes become very difficult but somehow you want to learn the piano and learn fast. So eventually you are left with only one option, and that is to teach yourself. There are many videos online teaching you how to play piano, but the information is so distorted that it becomes very hard to make sense from one point to another. So, you need something profound, something that could teach you in a good flow, step by step like the lessons in this PianoforAll piano course.
Piano For All
Piano for all is a full online piano learning course that has everything so organized and well planned. The course starts from the very basics, and as a beginner who has some sort of knowledge about piano and keyboard one thinks that I know all the basics of the piano but the truth is you get to learn so many new things about playing piano in just the beginning of the course.
The Mind Behind Piano for All
Piano for all is a creative invention of the piano master himself, Mr. Robin Hall. He has a vast experience in piano and keyboards. Originally, he started his career as a cartoonist but soon he drifted away from that due to the least interest of the modern world in cartoons and their true essence. Then he wrote little stuff on how to draw cartoons. Meanwhile, Mr. Robin was also teaching piano lessons. So eventually, he decided to give all his heart and soul into this art and started this online course Piano for all which is all about learning to play piano and keyboard.
He has created this amazing course that can make you an expert pianist in a very short span of time. Moreover, he explains everything in detail and also gives some pretty interesting tips and shortcuts in playing the piano so that you learn fast in a short amount of time. Mr. Robin Hall is not interested in dragging things unnecessarily, he only wants his students to learn piano and do it fast.
On his website, he has also mentioned email address to get in touch with him so that the users of his course can contact him directly for any questions and queries. This shows his dedication towards his work because mostly in these types of courses, authors don’t list any of their contact information. This shows how much importance they give to their program users.

These e-books are also in a very strategic and well-planned order and they take you to step by step through the whole course. You start with the very basics and with each book you learn something new which can then be applied with the new concepts of the next book. So, it’s like a whole syllabus. With each book, you learn something different and then you move on to the next level.
Each e-book has a different area of focus and explains a different concept. For example, book 3, Chord Magic, focuses on the chords more than melodies. It teaches you how you can master different piano chords using your memory and how you can turn them into popular songs. It teaches you to change chords fast by using inversions. This book will help you master your chords in very little time.
Here are details of other e-books:

Book 9: Speed Learning
It has all the memory tricks and a lot of exercises that will make this course much easier for you and will ensure that you are learning good and fast.
These books have been very carefully organized so that they not only help the students learn fast but also learn efficiently. It does not miss any of the chords C, F and G, everything is covered in detail but in such a way that the reader can learn very fast and easily.
Alongside the piano books, the course also has a set of 200 videos ideal for beginners. Many people find it easier to learn through a video rather than by reading. So, these videos are very helpful for people like that, including me. These videos are also a complete guide which covers techniques helping you to learn to play the piano. The instructor shows each and everything, each chord, how you can play chords, where each chord is on the keyboard. Video lessons make learning a lot easier.
The good thing about these videos is that they are related to the e-books lessons. With each concept being introduced in the e-book you will find a related video which will have a practical demonstration. This will help you keep your focus and you will never get lost in your piano tutorials.
The only thing that you need to arrange for these videos to work for you is to set the computer in front of your piano or keyboard. You can also play these videos on your phone or tablet and place them near your keyboard. With that, you can practice with the video because only with practice you can become a great pianist.
Piano for All: Pros and Cons
Apart from Robin’s lessons, some other things that I liked about the course are,
You can access the course even if you are offline
There is nothing worse than losing the internet connections in the middle of a video, and there is nothing more frustrating than a slowly buffering video. It makes learning so much difficult. But once you receive the complete package, you can download it and save it on your computer or tablet and play them anytime and wherever you want. Everything can be played offline so even if you don’t have an internet connection your learning won’t stop.
Compatibility of the Course
The material of this course is compatible with every kind of device, may it be iPad, laptop, PC, phone, it works everywhere. You can easily transfer the files to any of your devices and play them according to your convenience.
You get free updates of the course in your inbox
All the updates of this course are free. You will not have to even buy the updates after buying the whole program. Whatever improvements are made to the course they will be sent to you automatically and free of cost.
You have to pay only once for the entire course
While I was finding a solution to my problems, I came across a few courses that were giving access to the course only for a specific time, and once your subscription expires you had to repay to access the material. That was actually very frustrating and did not make sense. If I had paid for a lesson I should be able to access it anytime I want even if it’s after months. But in Piano for all, you only have to pay once and can access all the material anytime you want even today or after years. It’s just a one-time payment.
Nobody is taking those videos away from you because to be honest you still need them whenever you forget something like different piano chords or notes.
Great support provided by Robin Hall and his team
The truth is you always learn better when you have someone to guide you, to tell you about your mistakes and how you can get better. Mr. Robin Hall has mentioned his contact email address on the website and the students can contact him directly for any suggestions or help. He is very responsive to his students and gives excellent advice on how one can do better.
⇒ The Cons
I didn’t find any major faults in Piano for all but there are a few things that I noticed about this program and I thought had some room for improvement.
Ignoring the fundamentals at some levels
Firstly, I felt that the course was maybe neglecting a bit of the piano fundamentals especially after book 1. As I have gotten into the deeper spirit of piano I have realized that there is more to the piano than just rock n roll. Understanding the basic spirit of the piano is very important so that when you play a note it is played from your soul. The classical music, I felt was a bit ignored.
Audio stops when the page is flipped
There was also one technical problem in the course that if while you are playing the audio you flip to the next page the audio stops. I think it should keep playing the audio even when you are flipping pages over because it keeps the concentration and helps to connect the tune with different concepts. Hopefully, the new update will solve this problem.
And lastly, I would say that the piano program could have used more and better visuals. The visuals it is using now might come off as confusing to the users. I think it’s for sure that better visuals also help in better learning. It keeps the interest of the learner intact and the focus remains on the screen. So maybe some better aesthetics could be added to the course’s overall look.
With that being said apart from these things the course still manages to be excellent keyboard and piano lessons for a beginner and for adults who have very limited knowledge about playing piano or keyboard.
This piano course has received some very good reviews and testimonials from its users.
